Another phobia that is surprisingly common is that of moths. Moth phobia is also known as mottephobia. There's also a generic term of entomophobia for the fear of insects.
Phobias in themselves are irrational, although that does not stop them often having significant impact on people's lives. Sometimes even preventing them from leaving the house out of sheer fear. There are treatments available, such as my new rapid treatment that can resolve phobias within 1 to 2 sessions and can also be delivered online. It's amazingly quick, and has been extremely effective on many others in the past with phobias. Then you can get back to the business of appreciating the role that insects play in the animal kingdom.
